Prospect Development Manager

Waterfield Tech is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and experienced marketer to jump start our prospect development efforts and drive growth initiatives with the marketing team for highly engaged and qualified accounts.

The Prospect Development role is responsible for leading the development, implementation, management and measurement of programs to develop pipeline through increased opportunity development. You will act as a liaison between the Marketing and Sales teams to develop strategies and tactics designed to penetrate engaged accounts and oversee lead handoff.

You’ll work alongside a diverse group of experts, innovators, and partners, all working together to solve interesting problems surrounding customer engagement with brands from around the world. Together, we help businesses of all sizes build deeper customer relationships, acquire bigger audiences, and use data to fuel amazing experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside our Solution and Product Marketing Managers to prioritize and nurture contacts through the funnel
  • Execute creative programs to generate opportunities from concept through execution, i.e., strategy, timeline, budget, design and content support, campaign development and campaign measurement
  • Leverage various forms of marketing content and 1:1 communications to nurture high intent contacts to sales readiness via account-based marketing, email marketing, marketing automation, direct message, web chat, and phone
  • Conduct prospect and account research to develop highly personalized messaging
  • Measure, analyze, and report on prioritized account penetration on a monthly basis as well as impact of prospect development efforts on sales opportunities and pipeline (marketing sourced and influenced)

Requirements

  • Experience with account targeting and segmentation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and how to employ marketing strategies to nurture leads and drive engagement
  • Strong account based marketing or business development experience within the B2B technology space. CCaaS experience is a plus, but not required
  • World-class writing skills across different mediums, from email and webchat copy, to landing pages and 1:1 video scripts
  • Demonstrated experience developing high-impact, value-based messaging across different customer segments
  • Strong research skills. You’re a sleuth that enjoys uncovering business pain points used to create compelling messages that differentiate
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with sales and marketing
  • Proficiency across major marketing technologies (e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Scrappy and curious, always questioning the standard way of doing things and finding ways to do it better
  • Not afraid to experiment and try cool stuff
  • Experience in a high growth culture
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked on launching new solutions internationally
